Pharmaceutical Industry Particle Sieving


According to data, as early as 2017, the total production value of China's powder industry had reached about 60 trillion yuan, continuing to rank among the top in the world. In recent years, with the increasing requirements for the screening precision of powdered materials in industries such as medicine and food, the improvement and upgrading of air jet sieving machine are urgently needed.

For instance, during the sieving process of fine powders with a particle size smaller than 4000um, such as fine powders of traditional Chinese and Western medicines, phenomena such as aggregation, static electricity, and clogging of the air jet sieve apertures easily occur. Traditional vibrating sieves cannot accurately and quickly screen materials like fine powders of traditional Chinese and Western medicines or glass fiber. Air jet sieving machine is designed to meet the rapid and accurate screening needs of fine powders, catering to the demands of powder airflow sieving in industries such as medicine, food, rubber, plastic, machinery, and mining for material sieving and classification.

The working principle of the air jet sieving machine is as follows: a negative pressure is generated through a dedicated dust collector of the air jet sieving machine, which is then converted into the sieving airflow. This airflow, after passing through the air jet nozzle, exerts a force that pushes the particles towards the sieve cover, causing them to collide and disperse, and subsequently, the dispersed particles are attracted to the standard sieve mesh by the negative pressure. Larger particles stay on the surface of the standard sieve mesh, while smaller particles pass through it, thus achieving the purpose of air jet sieving.
