Due to the tendency of ultrafine powders to agglomerate and clog the sieve mesh, the air jet sieving apparatus can be a preferred choice for screening fine powders. The entire system consists of a main unit (with an integrated rotating nozzle) and an industrial-grade dust collector connected to the main unit. When the dust collector switch is turned on, a vacuum is generated inside the sieving apparatus main unit. High-speed airflow is then ejected through the extremely narrow nozzle, blowing across the sieve mesh. The agglomerated powder particles on the sieve mesh are instantaneously dispersed by the airflow from the mesh and lid, and are subsequently pulled back onto the sieve mesh by the vacuum created by the dust collector. As a result, fine particles are efficiently and rapidly separated, while coarse particles remain on the sieve mesh and are reweighed after the sieving process is completed.
